6 Healthy Popsicle Recipes – Just in Time for Summer

Sweet summertime is almost here! And with it comes healthy Popsicle recipes from our nutritious kitchen.

The following Popsicle recipes are well suited for all kinds of diets. Some contain zero sugar, some contain high-protein, and all can be made vegan. This is music to our ears!

So don’t buy your pops; make them with a few simple ingredients found at your grocery store and Vitamin World.

Chocolate Strawberry Protein Popsicle

Chocolate Protein Popsicles

Good for: Low-sugar diets, high protein diets

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

  • 2 scoops  of your favorite chocolate-flavored protein powder (we used Garden of Life)
  • 8 oz milk (We used high-protein Ripple Milk)
  • 6-8 ripe strawberries

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend til smooth. Pour into molds and freeze for four hours.

Matcha Tea Popsicles

Matcha Popsicles

Good for: no sugar diets

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

  • 10 oz water
  • 3-4 teaspoons Matcha Tea
  • Agave (optional)

Directions

Stir Matcha into cold water until fully dissolved. Add a few drops of Agave if desired and place in freezer til frozen, about four hours.

Dreamsicle Protein Pop

Good for: High protein diets, low sugar diets

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a blender until combined. Pour into Popsicle molds until frozen, about four hours.

Ginger Lemon Chia Popsicles

Ginger Lemon Chia Popsicles

Good for: Upset stomach, feeling full

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

Directions

Stir crystallized ginger into warm water until partially dissolved. Add lemon juice and stir until combined. When cooled, add chia seeds and pour into Popsicle trays. Freeze four hours.

Aloe Vera Popsicles

Aloe Cucumber Lime Popsicle

Good for: Heartburn, low sugar diets

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

  • 8 oz Cucumber water
  • 4 capfuls Aloe Vera Drink
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • Mint (optional)

Directions

Soak cucumbers in water overnight. Then, remove cucumbers and add Aloe Vera Drink, lime juice, and mint leaves. Freeze for four hours.

Greek Yogurt Cocoa Popsicles

Greek Yogurt Cocoa Popsicles

Good for: High protein, low sugar diets

Ingredients (Makes Four Popsicles)

Directions

Stir Cocoa powder into Greek yogurt, add coconut sugar to taste. Mix well and freeze for four hours before enjoying.
